ང་ཚོ་གདོང་དམར་བོད་པའི་རིག་གཞུང་འདི།།

Nga tsho dong mar bhö pay rig shung di

མི་རིགས་ཞིག་གི་བླ་སྲོག་ཡིན་གྱུར་ན།།

Mi rig shik gi la sok yin gyur na

མི་རབས་ཞིག་གི་འཚོ་རྟེན་ཡིན་གྱུར་ན།།

Mi rab shik gi tsho ten yin gyur na

བྱིས་པ་ངན་སྐུལ་མ་བཏང་སློབ་གྲྭར་ཐོང།།

Chi pa ngen kül ma tang lob trar thong

Parents,

This culture of ours, of the red-faced Tibetans,

If it is to be the life-essence of the people,

If it is to become a support for the livelihood of a generation,

Do not incite the children towards mischief, send them to school

དགེ་རྒན་ཚོ།།

ང་ཚོ་བོད་མིའི་སྐྱིད་སྡུག་རིག་གྱུར་ན།།

མི་རིགས་འདི་ལ་ཤ་ཞེན་ཡོད་གྱུར་ན།།

Mi rig di la sha shen yö gyur na

མི་རིགས་འདི་ལ་ལྷག་བསམ་ཡོད་གྱུར་ན།།

Mi rig di la lhak sam yö gyur na

བྱིས་པ་ཚོང་རྫས་མ་བྱེད་སློབ་གསོས་སྐྱོངས།།

Chi pa tsho nga dze ma chey lob sö kyong

Teachers,

If the joys and sorrows of we Tibetans are to be known,

If our people are to be loyal,

If our people are to be caring,

Nurture the learning of the child, not business and materialism

དཔོན་པོ་ཚོ།།

ང་ཚོའི་མི་རིགས་འགནའཛིན་ཡོད་འགྱུར་ན།།

མི་རིགས་འདི་ལ་ལྷིང་འཇགས་དགོས་གྱུར་ན།།

Mi rig di la lhing jak gö gyur na

མི་རབས་འདི་ལ་ཡར་ཐོན་དགོས་གྱུར་ན།།

Mi rab di la yar thön gö gyur na

ཚད་ལྡན་སློབ་གྲྭ་འཛུགས་སྐྲུན་གནང་རོགས་ཞུ།།

Tshey den lob tra dzuk trün nang rok shu

Leaders,

If our people are to have responsible officials,

If peace will be necessary for our people,

If progress will be necessary for this generation,

I humbly request that you establish proper schools
